Enroxil® 10%

Enroxil® is indicated for the treatment of infectious bacterial diseases of the respiratory, digestive, genitourinary, and integumentary systems in cattle, pigs, goats, and sheep.

FORMULA

Each mL contains: Enrofloxacin 100 mg, excipient q.s.: 1 mL

DOSAGE

Beef cattle, pigs, sheep, and goats: 2.5 mg/kg body weight, equivalent to 1 mL/40 kg body weight.

Treatment: Every 24 hours for 3 to 5 days, at the discretion of the Veterinarian.

Administration route: Deep intramuscular (IM), subcutaneous (SC), and slow intravenous (IV).

Presentation: 250 ml

Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics

It is a fluorinated quinolone that acts on unit A and unit B of topoisomerase II (DNA-Gyrase), showing high activity against Gram (+) and Gram (-) bacteria and mycoplasmas. Its absorption is excellent, reaching high concentrations in tissues. It has high bioavailability, is partially metabolized in the liver to ciprofloxacin, and is eliminated through the renal pathway by glomerular filtration and tubular excretion.

Warnings

Do not use the product 28 days before animal slaughter. Do not administer this product to horses intended for human consumption, do not administer the product after the expiration date, store at room temperature no higher than 30°C in a cool, dry place, protected from light. Product for exclusive use in veterinary medicine.
