Vitamin K

To raise blood prothrombin levels in cases of hemorrhage, surgical interventions, and in all cases where it is necessary to accelerate the coagulation process.

FORMULA:

Each ml contains: Menadione (Vitamin K3) 10 mg, Vehicle c.b.p. 1 ml.

SPECIES: Dairy and beef cattle, Swine, Sheep, Goats, Canines, and Felines.

ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION: Subcutaneous (do not administer more than 5 ml at the same site). Intramuscular or slow intravenous.

DOSAGE

• Dairy and beef cattle: 5 to 25 ml/100 kg of weight (equivalent to 50 - 250 mg).
• Swine: 2.5 to 12.5 ml/50 kg of weight (equivalent to 25 - 125 mg).
• Sheep and Goats: 2.5 to 12.5 ml/50 kg of weight (equivalent to 25 - 125 mg).
• Canines: 2.5 to 5 ml/10 kg of weight (equivalent to 25 - 50 mg).
• Felines: 1.5 to 2.5 ml per animal (equivalent to 15 - 25 mg).

PRESENTATION: 100 ml.

WARNINGS

Administration should be 12 hours prior to the event. Store in a cool place. Keep at a temperature below 30°C. Keep out of reach of children and pets. See enclosed instructions.
